Everything You Need To Know About
Debt Collectors and Debt Collection Companies

Ma'am I Can Have You Arrested If You Don't Make a Payment NOW!
More and more debt collectors are making it crystal clear, “They don’t give a flying saucer,” about any state or Federal Laws designed to protect consumers against abusive and rogue debt collectors. In direct contempt of the well known (FDCPA) Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and state regulations, they are making Mafia type tactics to coerce payments -the norm!

They have reduced themselves to making very scary threats, using abusive language, calling in the middle of the night and informing family members and friends about the alleged debt. All of those tactics are without question, illegal under federal law. If you owe any company money, there are some thing you absolutely need to know about debt collectors.

Ask a Debt Collector... They Won't Lie Will They?
Ask any debt collector and they will tell you that debt collectors are just doing their jobs. Says one former debt collector who wishes to remain anonymous, “The nature of our business dictates that we be hard nose and ornery. Like any other job we have quotas. If a debt collector consistently doesn’t meet his or her quotas, they won’t be collecting debts as a profession for long. If they can’t compel people to pay, RIGHT NOW!” They are no good for any debt collection company, or for the creditors who hire us.

It is a proven fact; if a debt collector rakes a person over the coals everyday with phone calls and progressively escalates into a mercenary type tone… the individual on the other end of the phone is more than likely going to pay up. When it comes to collecting debts, being mean works; being nice will get a debt collector fired!” This vdeo is just one of the many we could show proving this point.

Debt Collectors Are Innocent... Hahahha!
Says one CEO of a major debt collection enterprise; (who also wishes to remain anonymous) “there are only a few rogue debt collectors within certain companies who break the law. The vast majority of us abide by the law.

This ugly image being painted about debt collectors is not factual. It has been brought about by a small group of people who apparently are attempting to escape paying their obligations. We are not adversaries of the consumer; we are their allies. Our job is to help them find a solution to their debt problem. When we accomplish that, everybody wins!

Mr. Debt Collector, Did You Just Lie To Us?
That CEO was as cool as a cucumber. However, a report on the debt collection industry issued by the (FTC) Federal Trade Commission, contradicts his assessment of his industry. According to the FTC, the debt collection industry receives more complaints than any other industry by far. The most common complaint to the FTC was from people who say they were pursued for payment over charges they did not owe. Folks. I think Mr. Debt Collector just lied!
